Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Breast Center
Location: North Bergen NJ 07047
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension possible)
Assignment Details:
Schedule: Monday Friday
Shift: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Hours: 40 Hours/Week 8 Hours/Day
No Weekends No Holidays No Floating
On-Call: Occasional
Compensation:
Gross Weekly: $2518/week
W2 Rate: $22/hour
Weekly Stipend: $1694/week
Job Summary:
A leading outpatient imaging center in North Bergen NJ is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in breast imaging for a 13-week contract assignment. The technologist will perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient comfort safety and diagnostic accuracy in a womens imaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform breast ultrasound examinations following established protocols.
Utilize Doppler imaging and advanced sonographic techniques as needed.
Accurately document findings and maintain image quality standards.
Ensure proper use of PACS and image archiving systems.
Maintain patient privacy comfort and dignity throughout procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to infection control standards.
Stay current with CEU requirements and certification standards.
Required Qualifications:
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) Required.
CPR Certification.
Strong experience in breast ultrasound techniques.
Knowledge of breast anatomy pathology and Doppler imaging.
Familiarity with PACS and digital imaging systems.
Ability to maintain CEU credits.
Education:
Graduate of an approved Ultrasound Program.
Minimum 2 years Allied Health/College training.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience.
Prior breast center or womens imaging experience strongly preferred.
