EU Equipment Support Specialist

Ecolab is currently recruiting an Equipment Support Specialist for our team in Leiden Netherlands. The selected candidate will offer technical assistance to field personnel and technical representatives throughout Europe for Ecolab technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting issues related to 3D TRASAR and Nalco Water proprietary equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve problems concerning Ecolab Food & Beverage proprietary equipment.
• Provide live phone support to field representatives regarding standard equipment and e-catalog products utilizing technical specifications product documentation and pricing information.
• Communicate equipment pricing warranty details and parts information to customers using the SAP platform.
• Manage and document support requests through the ticket tracking system including calls and emails.
• Offer technical expertise and guidance to product marketing R&D and commercialization teams within assigned technology domains.
• Contribute to team objectives vision and performance metrics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fluent in French and English
• At least 1 year of experience in communications or sales and 13 years in an industrial mechanical or electrical setting.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong customer service skills and a track record of positive professional interaction with customers
• Familiarity with gateways and automated system connectivity
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with electrical or mechanical systems
• Data analysis abilities
• Effective verbal communication skills

referred Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelors degree in engineering or 24 years of relevant technical experience is acceptable
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
• Fundamental knowledge of PLCs
• Strong data analysis skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
• Familiarity with boilers cooling towers and wastewater treatment systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities demonstrated through cross-functional teamwork
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic environment
