Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to support the development and maintenance of digital manufacturing batch records using the Dozuki platform. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams (Operations and Quality) to translate complex manufacturing processes into clear standardized and user-friendly work instructions that enable safe compliant and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
Develop edit and maintain manufacturing batch records and work instructions within the Dozuki system
Translate technical processes (e.g. chemical manufacturing polymer synthesis purification steps) into clear step-by-step digital guides
Collaborate with SMEs (e.g. manufacturing chemists process development and quality teams) to capture accurate process details
Ensure all documentation aligns with ISO 9001 quality standards and internal documentation practices
Standardize formatting terminology and structure across batch records for consistency and usability
Incorporate visuals (images diagrams tables) to enhance clarity and reduce operator error
Support version control change management and document updates as processes evolve
Participate in process walkthroughs and shop floor observations to ensure documentation reflects actual practices
Identify gaps ambiguities or risks in procedures and proactively recommend improvements
Assist in building templates and best practices for scalable documentation across manufacturing workflows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in a technical field (Chemistry Chemical Engineering Life Sciences) or equivalent experience
2 years of technical writing experience in a manufacturing biotech or regulated environment
Experience writing SOPs batch records or work instructions
Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify complex technical information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Dozuki or similar digital work instruction platforms
Familiarity with GMP ISO or regulated manufacturing environments
Exposure to chemical or polymer manufacturing processes
Experience incorporating visuals and instructional design best practices
Continuous improvement mindset (PPI Lean or Six Sigma experience a plus) Project Code :
