Successful completion of high school or equivalent education coupled with either formal surgical technology training or the fulfillment of hospital-based training requirements. (Military Surgical Technologist experience may be considered in place of a formal training program). |
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification provided by American Heart Association American Red Cross or Military Training Network. Must Maintain 6 continuing education per year. CST (Certified Surgical Technology) certification is required or candidates must have five years or more of experience as a surgical tech. |
Two years of surgical technician experience along with Surgical tech certification (CST) required. Alternatively five years of surgical technician experience can be a substitute for certification. |

Salary Range: Minimum 38.82/hour - Maximum 38.82/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
