Program Structure

  • Juniors: Two rotations required
  • Seniors & Graduate Students: One rotation required

This role is in St. Louis Missouri. The facility is located at the St. Louis downtown airport only minutes from exciting downtown St. Louis.

The compensation range for this role is $18.90 - $27.30 per hour.

Final compensation for this role will be determined by your expected graduation date.

About the position

The Completions Operations Engineering team in St. Louis is seeking enthusiastic and driven students for a summer internship within our Engineering youre passionate about engineering and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment wed love to hear from you!


Principal Responsibilities

Responsibilities primarily involve mechanical engineering design modeling and drafting of new and derivative versions of aircraft interior equipment utilizing scanning and 3D printing tools developing and modifying engineering processes coordinating with shop manufacturing personel during fabrication participating in root cause / corrective action events and new development engineering projects.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced hands-on aviation focused environment.

  • Ability to convey technical concepts in both written and verbal formats.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
  • Proven leadership skills on-campus or in a previous work atmosphere.
  • Previous internship experience a plus.

Education Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in the following:

  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Other Requirements:
    1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelors degree or higher.
    2. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date.
    3. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
    4. Rotation Requirements: Juniors 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students 1 rotation.
    5. Minimum duration: 1214 weeks (summer); 1416 weeks (spring and fall).
    6. Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
    7. Must have reliable transportation.
    This job requires one to be able to read write speak and understand the English language.
