Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Elmhurst New York
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Shift: Day Shift 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Schedule: Alternating weekends and holidays required

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $70/hour
Total Weekly Gross: $2450
Weekly Stipend: $630

Position Summary

A well-established healthcare facility in Elmhurst NY is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients including general and vascular studies in an acute care setting.

This assignment includes a two-week training/orientation period (9:00 AM 5:00 PM) including EPIC EMR training.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general ultrasound exams for adult and pediatric patients
Conduct vascular ultrasound studies
Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
Provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment

Required Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through ARDMS Required
Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program
Minimum 1 year of general registered ultrasound experience
Experience in an acute care setting Required
Strong general ultrasound skills (adult pediatric and vascular)
