About the Role:

TheSeniorMedia Planneris responsible forthe development of client specific media plans across all media disciplines providing supporting research and day-to-day client contact and servicing on assigned person may also provide supervision and training to junior team members.

Your Impact:

Client Service

  • Day to day client contact
  • Responsible for carrying out client requests andassistprojects for the group
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients external agencies and media partners

Leadership

  • Successfully supervise the workflow of Media Planners and Assistant Media Planners for the day to day running of the account ensuring that tasks are completed on time project status ismonitored.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members

Planning

  • Responsible for the development of client specific media plans across all channels
  • Provides interpretation of competition and other research data
  • Implements theEssenceMediacomSystems Thinking into plans
  • Works with all internal resources including Investment Finance and Strategy and BI&A in carrying out the development of their plans and client service requirements
  • Oversees all media accounting and administrative dutiesrequiredon their assigned accounts including monthly media expenditure reports (BCRs)
  • Participate in clients plan presentations

  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated time management and multitasking skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Begin to develop presentation skills
  • Detail oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Begins to understand the clients business
  • Detail accuracy and mathematical competencya must
  • Strong computer skills with a particular emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage and meet multiple demands within timeline

Education and Experience:

  • 3years experiencein media planning
  • Post-secondary degree specialization in Advertising and/or Marketingisan asset
