About this Role

BlackRock is looking to hire aJuniorPortfolio Manager to join its Global Cash Management team in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania PM will have a unique opportunity to work closely with senior portfolio managers research analystsand operations professionals in addition to working closely with broker-dealers and counterparties in trading and managing a book of short-term funding instruments.A successful candidate will be self-motivated and naturally curious with exceptional problem-solving knowledge of banking and capital marketsexperience in the money marketsisa plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the liquidity needs of portfolios.

• Analyze market conditions andprovidedaily insight to senior investors.

• Supportthe operational workflows of the senior portfolio management team.

• Participate inprojects to improve efficiency of PM and trading processes.

• Assistin preparing reports anddeliveringmarket updates

• Interact with differentbusinessareas including technology legal riskandoperations.

• Maintain understanding of the regulatory environment thatgovernsour operations.

Qualifications:

• BA/BSrequiredwith preference for Math Engineering Financeor Economics.

• 2-3 years of experience or internships in financial markets or related areas a plus.

• Strongattention to detailand the ability to synthesizelarge amountsof data.

• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.

• Outstandingproblem-solving and interpersonal skills.

• Experience buildingdeployingor scaling solutions a plus.

• Strongorganizational and multitasking skills.

• Ahigh degree of integrity with the ability to handle confidential matters.

• Capacityto work in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborativeattitude isa must.

• Experience with Bloombergand Aladdina plus.
