Job Summary
The Learning Experience seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeping team member to join our team as an ambassador of happiness.
Youll play a key role in making a difference in the lives of children their families and communities by keeping our center clean and completing some minor housekeeping tasks daily.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks such as cleaning sanitizing disinfecting surfaces trash removal laundry and floor care in accordance with childcare health and safety standards.
- Support basic facilities needs including setting up and breaking down rooms monitoring supplies and reporting maintenance or safety concerns to leadership.
- Follow all proper cleaning sanitation and infection-control procedures to ensure a healthy environment for children staff and families.
- Assist with inventory tracking and restocking of cleaning sanitation and facility supplies as required by local and state regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the Center Leadership team and teaching staff to ensure the facility remains organized functional and welcoming.
- Provide friendly and professional interactions with children families and staff demonstrating a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Remain flexible and adaptable to the daily operational needs of a childcare center including occasional support with special projects or events.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- The ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Ability to work a schedule of 11am-8pm Monday through Friday
