Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client during weekend hours. This position focuses on personal care safety and companionship while following an established care plan.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with dressing and personal grooming
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Help maintain a safe home environment
- Schedule appointments for physicians and laboratory visits
- Safely operate and assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift
Qualifications:
- Hoyer lift experience is required
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred
- Ability to assist with personal care tasks
- Reliable punctual and compassionate
- Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
