The Position:
L3Harris is currently seeking a part-time Security Guard for our Camden NJ location. This position is a part-time position
and bargaining unit represented position. Part-time Guards work all shifts: Monday Sunday; and must be available for
weekday evenings and weekends. Hourly rate is $18.65 with no Health or Welfare benefits. Responsibilities will include
but not be limited to:
Must be able to work under general direction part-time/on-call Security Guards will ensure a safe and secure
working environment for L3Harris employees tenants guests and facility.
Ensure parking patrons are not interfering with or prohibiting employee departure and arrival to the facility.
Patrol building perimeter via foot or vehicle.
Monitor building entries and exits.
May be required to perform Entry Control and administrative duties.
Operate access control and alarm system.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Must be a US Citizen
Obtain and maintain DoD secret security clearance.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
Prior Security Guard experience preferred.
Good verbal written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact in a positive and diplomatic manner.
Must possess basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word Outlook etc.
Ability to work independently.
Must be available for weekday evenings and weekends.
Must be available to work different shifts Sunday-Saturday.
Must have a flexible schedule.
Must properly wear company provided uniform.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary for this role is $18.65/hour.
