Role description
Were seeking a skilledProject Managerto join our Education sector team delivering projects for Higher Education and museum clients across the UK.
Youll manage a varied workloadoften juggling several projectsbringing strong technical knowledge and broad project management experience particularly in higher education. This clientfacing role focuses on excellent service delivery effective time management and aligning effort with budgets to ensure profitable compliant outcomes.
Role accountabilities
- Oversee agreed scopes of work and manage team or contractor workloads to meet programme milestones
- Produce and track plans schedules and budgets within established financial systems; report variances promptly
- Deliver multiple smalltomedium projects ensuring resources and budgets meet deadlines and scope
- Identify and escalate risks or issues to senior management to protect delivery and compliance
- Provide guidance on behaviours and compliance processes across the team
- Analyse data to identify trends and make recommendations that inform project decisions
- Review processes using industry best practice and advise senior management on improvements
- Collaborate across the organisation to meet internal customer expectations
- Maintain regular client and stakeholder communication to manage expectations
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience managing mediumcomplexity projects ideally within Higher Education
- Laboratory project experience desirable
- Strong teamwork and clientfacing skills
- MAPM or equivalent project management qualification
- Commercially aware with excellent time and cost management
