Be part of the customer success management team which includes account management and project management responsibilities.

Learn from CSMs on the daily tasks that they do for servicing clients and upsell/cross-selling to existing clients.

What the intern can learn during the internship

1. Developing an in-depth understanding of the FX market microstructure and marketplace dynamics.

2. Regular weekly and monthly write-up of SGX FX Asia write-up of client meetings and new client details to field sales.

3. Monthly sales and account management presentation materials preparation.

4. Review & data-mining of current client trading volumes trends inactivity and opportunities for sales and revenue generation.

5. Competitive analysis (spreads volume clients product differences) across our competitors.

6. Exposure to sales and marketing through accounts management sales face-to-face or digital conferences client interactions and marketing events.

7. Profitability analysis of customer segments by product.

8. Technological product and functional FX understanding.

9. Learn how to upsell/cross sell products to clients.

10. Learn about the workflows of different clients and provide value-add to different segments of clients by identifying opportunities.

11. Acquire critical thinking mindset.

Job Responsibilities

The roles & responsibilities include:

  • Monitor rejections and reach out to Liquidity providers accordingly.
  • Help with the creation of marketing materials and pitch documents or adaptation of these for our local region.
  • Assist in preparing for regional meetings for the regional team.
  • Assist team in setting up of new users.
  • Onboard LPs/New accounts for new/existing clients.
  • Help the team in managing large client projects by assisting internally with different stakeholders
  • Assist CSMs with their up-selling of features and projects that come along with it
  • Learn about the Foreign Exchange market our clients and their current and future requirements and the various functions within SGX FX.
  • Provide functional/ technical support (L1/L2) for all SGX FX clients.

Job Requirements

  • Have a good command of English (must) and Mandarin (not important but good to have).
  • Have an understanding of SaaS Cloud computing knowledge.
  • Have good Microsoft skills including reporting power pivot data and detail oriented.
  • Have VBA skills / SQL skills and python scripting (added advantage).
  • Possess good customer service skills.
