Hybrid: This position requires to work 3 days on site 2 days at home remote on a full-time basis
The Role:
Assess and evaluate financial performance of supported business unit with regard to long-term operational goals budgets and forecasts- Support creation of yearly financial objectives that align with the business partners plan for growth and expansion- Prepare and may present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss forecast vs. budget and cash flow- Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls SOX compliance and financial procedures- Maintain outstanding relationships with business partners- Lead by example displaying GM behaviors commitment to personal development and dedication to crafting a positive Workplace of Choice culture- Provides understanding of the bigger picture and how projects relates to operational strategy / Enterprise goals- Anticipate partner needs (proactive vs. reactive)
Responsibilities:
Work closely with operations team to develop cost savings initiatives for plant.
Provide financial support for all capital projects including analysis of cash flow statements balance sheets income statements return on investment (ROI) internal rate of return (IRR) net present value (NPV).
Participate in business reviews for North America manufacturing plants.
Lead financial modeling and data mining efforts related to productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Develop business case justification for all major capital expenditures.
Assist plant manager with strategic planning activities.
Manage working relationships with various functional areas within the plant such as purchasing engineering human resources maintenance etc.
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures.
Perform monthly variance analysis for key performance indicators.
Develop monthly forecasts and provide commentary on actual versus budget results.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in finance or related experience. ; Masters degree preferred.
1 to 3 years of experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Fluency in English and Spanish languages is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Experience with SAP and Oracle applications is highly desirable.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
