Job Description:

Private Trust (PT) as part of the TD Wealth Specialized Services divisionprovidesa full range of Trust services to individualscorporationsand charitable entities. The Specialized Services division includes Private Banking and Wealth Advisory Services. With a focus on building long lasting intergenerational relationships with clients PT assists in the management of financial and estate plans through accumulationpreservationand transition while working closely with other internal business partners to look for opportunities to refer clients to them as part of the ongoing solutions offered.

Job Description

ThePrivate Trust PCSAprovides administrative support toTrust Officer(s) in meeting service commitments to Private Trustclients while delivering a level of servicetointernal and external partners that reflects TDBFG standards and guiding principles. The strength of the administrative support delivered by the PCSA is key to the financial and operationalexcellence that isTD Private Trust.

Accountabilities:

  • Service/Support /Administration

  • ProvideExceptional client service andtimelyadministration based on client requests/commitments and/or fiduciaryresponsibilities

  • Effectively execute / manage expectations for requests from internal partners andclients

  • Assistensuring fees/revenue is collected ona timelybasis

  • Compliance/Risk Management

  • Follow policies andprocedures

  • Assistin ensuring accounts/files are properlydocumented

  • Perform quarterly risk review of accounts/files

  • Limit deficiency reports and address intimelymanner

  • Team Support & Development

  • Participate in department projects andinitiatives

  • Share knowledge and bestpractices assist others as necessary - act as a resource.

  • Attend and actively contribute to groupmeetings

  • Attend internal or externalcourses

  • Seek opportunities to increase level of knowledge and experience

Skills and Education Requirements:

  • Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE)or IFIC an asset

  • Undergraduate Degree

  • Strong organization skills detail oriented and able to multi-task and prioritizeworkload

  • Committed to completing administrative tasks within designatedtimeframes

  • Excellent communication skillsselfstarterand team player

  • Previousexperiencedemonstratingpositive relationship skills both with clients and within ateam

  • Receptive to learning; critical thinker; comfortable asking questions to better understand complexsituations

  • Experience in the financial services industry in one or more sectors; career aspirations in the Trust industry an asset
