Job Summary

The Residency Program Coordinator provides direction leadership and day-to-day management of educational activities including assisting the Physician Program Director Chief Residents/Fellows residents/fellows (trainees) and serving as a liaison between attending physicians trainees medical students and administration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year or more of experience in an advanced administrative support role requiring a high level of organization attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities including responsibilities such as scheduling timekeeping budget adherence and supply ordering or procurement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree in education healthcare administration or related field
  • Previous experience in working directly with residents and interns providers and outside agencies to build relationships

  • Must have advanced organization skills as well as strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
  • Outstanding professional/organizational and presentation skills.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete in a timely fashion.
  • High level of integrity while working with sensitive and personal information.
  • Basic knowledge and mastery of project management processes.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Strong computer including use of Microsoft Office products.
