The Role:
The Detailer is a professional who specializes in creating detailed technical drawings and plans used in construction and manufacturing from 3D models in accordance with established company specifications and industry standards. Detailers must have a keen eye for detail strong spatial understanding and familiarity with design standards to produce accurate and functional drawings.
Responsibilities:
Primarily utilize Creo Parametric 4.0 or later and occasionally AutoCAD Release 2010 CAD or later software to perform applicable Mechanical component detail drafting work.
Works independently on projects with little or no supervision and consults with the Engineering Manager Designers and Project Engineers as required.
Prepare drawings to generate pump manufacturing drawings.
Work closely with the Project Engineers and the Designers to ensure conformance with the project specifications and company and industry standards.
Ability to work as needed to meet project deadlines.
Updating and revising drawings as needed.
Ensuring proper version control and document tracking.
Conducting thorough reviews of drawings for accuracy and completeness before turning in for checking.
Communicating effectively with team members and key stakeholders.
Attending meetings and providing updates on project progress.
Responding to requests for information and making revisions based on feedback.
Coordinating with other Detailer Designers and Project Engineers to ensure consistency accuracy and timeliness in project drawings.
Maintaining a strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent.
2 years of experience as a Mechanical CAD Detailer.
Hands on mechanical aptitude.
Computer experience with MS Word and Excel.
Creo Parametric 4.0 or later along with a working knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 or later.
Experience with Windchill and MRP systems is a plus.
Strong communication skills both written and oral.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Demands:
Light lifting (20-25 pounds) office environment.
Regularly required to sit or stand reach bend and move about the facility

The estimated pay range for this position is $27/hr. to $32/hr.. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location.
