Work Hours: FullTime/Night Shift weekend rotations required

Work Location: Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital St. Petersburg FL- Blood Bank

Position Summary:

  • Supports laboratory operations by performing routine tasks and assists with various laboratory procedures.
  • Ensures the smooth functioning of the lab and contributes to the accurate and timely completion of experiments and tests.
  • Maintains laboratory equipment prepares specimens and documents results.
  • Facilitates the exchange of information between customers patients families healthcare teams other departments vendors billing or outside agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent (Required)
  • Associates Degree in a scientific discipline or a related field (Preferred)

Experience:

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in laboratory setting

Salary Range: Minimum 17.11/hour - Maximum 27.37/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
