Carilion Clinic a physician-led multi-specialty clinic of 600 physicians located in Roanoke VA has an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Neurologist with fellowship training in headache medicine to join our growing Department of Neurology. Based in Roanoke Virginia Carilion Clinic is an award-winning community-based network of seven hospitals primary and specialty physician practices and is affiliated with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute (VTCRI). The Neurology department at Carilion Clinic recently started a residency program with 3 residents per year and recruited the Chief of Neurology recently Dr. Aashit Shah. There are exciting opportunities to expand clinical research including clinical trials and translational as well as basic neuroscience research collaboration with the incredible faculty at the VTCRI as well as the Virginia Tech University in nearby Blacksburg. As a member of the neurology faculty at Carilion Clinic you will have an appointment at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine located on the campus.

We work with the pain medicine program which offers a range of services for holistic pain management.
