Job Summary
Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center has undergone an amazing transformation from Baltimore City Hospitals into a vibrant academic medical center. Building on our rich history which dates back to 1773 we continue our commitment to better the health of our community through innovation compassionate care education and is an inpatient hospital pharmacy position. Under general supervision is responsible for the efficient and accurate provision of pharmaceuticals supplies and drug information according to established standards of practice. Duties may be performed in one or more areas of the Medical Center including Patient Care Areas and the Pharmacy. Assumes responsibility for all drug distribution clinical educational and research activities regarding rational and cost effective medication use in the assigned area(s) of practice. An overarching requirement is the ongoing development and maintenance of Professional Interactive skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Work requires the knowledge of theories principles and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelors or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy. Enhanced knowledge and abilities can be acquired through post-degree course work residencies and/or other professional experience.
- Current state licensure as a Pharmacist.
- 6 months of related experience required.
Flat Rate: $70.50/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
