OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Confident outgoing and looking to put your talents to good use This could be the role for you!
This year we have to raise over 80% of the 6.5 million we need to fund our vital work ourselves. Which means that our local community the people groups and organisations who support us by fundraising holding events volunteering and raising awareness are vital to enable us to care for children with life-shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire.
And thats where you come in. Covering Huddersfield youll build strong and long-lasting relationships with local organisations groups schools and individuals and support them to raise money for our charity.
Managing your own time and diary youll be out and about encouraging donations getting people involved in an activity or a challenge helping a group organise their own fundraising gaining sponsorship for an event or working with volunteers to man stalls or collect shoppers spare change.
Previous fundraising experience is welcome but not essential as we can help you develop those skills. What is essential is that youre self-motivated and driven someone who will embrace the opportunity to meet new people and build positive relationships that will help us raise the funds we need and help our supporters get the most from their involvement with us.
If youre bold up for a challenge and excited by the chance to build a network of supporters who are just as passionate as you about making a real difference to children and families living locally then we want to hear from you!
