JOB Automation Mechanical Engineer

LOCATION Birmingham

TERM Permanent

SALARY

My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team based in the Birminghamon a permanent basis.

The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

At least 2 years relevant experience as a Mechanical Engineer or related position
Experienced around automation/material handling
Have a confident technical skillset with a Mechanical Engineering qualification
Experience with welding would be an advantage
Have an excellent work ethic and positive attitude
Be a team player

The Mechanical Engineering Technician role will involve:

Supporting/overseeing the Projects and Service team
Dealing with customers on a technical level
Working to budgets and project timings
Investigating new product lines and areas within which the company can expand
Being involved in different manufacturing processes
Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
Keeping track of company documentation equipment and necessary upgrades
