Job Summary

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:The Clamp Truck Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating clamp truck - ensuring raw materials are received stored and moved to production machines efficiently and accurately. This position is vital to the smooth operations of our production floor by moving materials as needed to machines keeping our inventory accurate and receiving sorting and labeling all raw JOB DUTIES:-Safely operate clamp truck in a busy manufacturing environment-Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance needs.-Report damaged goods or unsafe conditions promptly. -Accurately receive label and store all incoming raw materials.-Deliver raw materials to production work centers as needed in a safe and efficient manner.-Ensure all material movements are recorded accurately.-Provide support to the inventory team when needed by assisting with cycle counting.-Work closely with team members on alternate shifts and the Receiving Supervisor to provide coverage when needed by working OT.-Learn and develop a strong working knowledge of all plant :Required Skills/Abilities -Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.-Knowledge of forklift or clamp truck operations.-Knowledge of material management procedures.-Knowledge of inventory bin systems / best practices for inventory management.-Skill in oral and written communication.-Skill in problem solving critical thinking and decision making.-Skill in building and maintaining internal and external relationships.-Ability to flexible self-directed and motivated to improve processes.-Ability to be patient and adaptable to unforeseen changes.-Ability to demonstrate professionalism and a team-driven attitude.-Education: Preferred High School or GED-Years Of Experience:Minimum 3 Years of Experience - In with forklift or clamp truck operation in a warehouse or manufacturing setting-Travel Requirements: NoneWORKING CONDITIONS-Primary Working Conditions Warehouse & Manufacturing REQUIREMENTS-Standard Shift Length:12 hours-Ability to Lift/Push/Pull: Up to 50lbs-Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): PPE is required which includes safety shoes eye protection and hearing Physical Requirements: Significant walking and standing; Incidental :(THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY AND EVERY OTHER SUNDAY).(7:00 PM - 7:15 AM)#Sparks625
