In-depth knowledge of the FEI F50 Electron Microscope and techniques of electron microscopy. Experience training new users on the FEI SEM following MSE department policy Experience troubleshooting basic errors on the FEI SEM.
Job Description:
To conduct the 90-120 min in person trainings for Mat E 4440 and 4520 lab team pairs. This occurs in the first 2 weeks of the semester and starts as soon as training can be scheduled. Support the Mat E 4440 and 4520 lab team students in their early usage of the SEM while assisting the new TA learn this process. Support University researchers in basic troubleshooting of SEM operation Record troubleshooting information in MSE FEI F50 SEM SOP and review SOP if time allows
