Peninsula Co-op is hiring anAssistant Managerfor a permanent full-time position averaging 40 hours per week at our CowichanFuel and Convenience Centre located at 281 Trans-Canada Hwy Duncan BC V9L 3R1. Our ideal candidate has open availability for a variety of shifts (opening and closing) including weekdays and weekends throughout the week

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

Supportingthe Manager the Assistant Manager acts in a leadership capacity to ensure theeffective operation of the department. Key areas of responsibility includeensuring a pleasant comfortable and safe shopping experience for ourcustomers; being a leader to the team providing support to enable them to dotheir jobs and develop their skills; ensuring the department is wellmerchandised stocked organized spotlessly clean and adequately staffed; andadministrative tasks like ordering pricing and a supportingcapacity the Assistant Manager will assist with recruitment performanceplanning and reviews period end and inventory management.
