Job description
We are looking for a Food ADV Law and Italy Promotions Advisor within the Food Advertising & Sustainability Law unit. The role reports to the Food ADV & Sustainability Associate Director and it is based in Parma.
Job Purpose
Support the Food Advertising and Sustainability Law Unit in day-by-day activities with a particular focus on legal checks related to labels and Italian promotions interacting with Technical Regulatory and Marketing Units.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Food Advertising & Sustainability Law Unit in food law related matters especially labelling matters at a global level interacting with internal and external local legal counsels
- Support the Food Advertising & Sustainability Law Unit in checking advertising and marketing materials (especially those related to Italian promotions)
- Update the team on new Food & Advertising Law provisions
- Conduct research on food and advertising law matters
- Draft minutes on internal meetings draft Power Point presentations and support the team by keeping all the internal files and documentation updated
Requirements
- Proficiency in English and Italian both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus
- An academic background in Law is not mandatory but prior experience in the legal field and/or in the labelling legal check and more in general in labelling management will be preferred
- An overall knowledge of Food Labelling legal provisions will be preferred
- Strong analytical skills attention to details proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a very fast paced environment
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
