Mansfield Childrens Center is seeking a Human Resources and Enrollment Coordinator. MCC is an early childcare center that has served infants through school age children since 1981. We enroll about 100 families and have a staff of about 30 teachers. MCCs curriculum is developed in-house with a focus on natural science and developing strong social and leadership skills. The Coordinator ensures that all activities align with our philosophy and mission and comply with the Department of Early Education and Caress policies. This person reports to the Director and coordinates assignments with other members of the Leadership Duties & ResponsibilitiesTeacher Education Supervision & Development: Recruit interview hire train and supervise teachers. Conduct performance evaluations per Centers policies. Lead regular staff meetings sharing updates addressing concerns and guiding teacher learning. Nurture a positive workplace atmosphere and facilitate positive co-teacher relations and mutual understanding. Issue written disciplinary notices when required. Support teachers enrollment in continued education and Parent Relations: Coordinate admissions processes including waitlists tours and enrollment paperwork. Build supportive relationships with parents by promptly addressing their concerns in a courteous and proactive Quality: Support teachers in implementing Centers curriculum and conducting their classroom practices in a way that meets the Centers philosophy and mission. Work closely with Centers administrative team (Teacher Education Coordinator Curriculum Coordinator and Center Director). Manage NAEYC applications and Licensing Compliance: Be knowledgeable of MA EEC regulations and assist in ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and develop strong professional relationships with state licensing authorities. Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting preschool Skills & Competencies Interpersonal Skills: Engages effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels. Teamwork & Cooperation: Works collaboratively with colleagues and management. Dependability: Completes responsibilities accurately and reliably. Communication: Expresses information clearly through verbal and written communication. Planning & Organization: Manages multiple tasks prioritizes workload and adapts to changing conditions. Leadership & Supervision: Supports and enforces policies while setting an example through personal conduct. Data Management: Collects compiles and reports information accurately and & Communication Skills Must be fluent in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating instructions and procedure manuals. Strong written communication skills for report writing and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals in their primary mode of communication. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills REQUIRED Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education Child Development or an education-related field REQUIRED Early Childhood Education (ECE) Leadership Experience: At least 2years of experience as an administrator (assistant director director learning coach) in a licensed childcare center or preschool with at least 75 enrolled students and at least 20 employees REQUIRED Classroom Teaching Experience 10 years PREFERRED Certification: Director II Certification or administrative course work Must be able to lift up to 50 connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs child safety and potential emergency situations for Infant and Young Toddler classrooms must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibilityNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
