GE Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Program Manager to join our FLRAA (Future Long Range Assault Aircraft) program team. This role is heavily execution-focused and will lead day-to-day program delivery in a military customer environment. The Program Manager will be responsible for driving detailed planning rigorous execution and on-time delivery of program scope that feeds into the overall FLRAA program ensuring alignment with GE Aerospaces strategic objectives U.S. military requirements and customer commitments.

Leads complex engineering activities and large groups of engineers through influence rather than direct authority (no direct reports) including hardware build-up and integration efforts. Interfaces with customers every day managing stakeholder communication and expectations.

This role requires strong leadership communication and project management skills to drive program success.


Location: Clearwater FL or Grand Rapids MI

This position offers a blend of onsite and hybrid work arrangements requiring a presence in the office for 3-4 days each week. An extensive corporate relocation package is available for eligible candidates.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own FLRAA NXP program in the development and execution of program plans schedules and budgets.

  • Ensure program objectives are met in accordance with GE Aerospaces Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC) priorities.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering manufacturing sourcing supply chain and quality to achieve program milestones and deliverables.

  • Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed to address any deviations from the plan.

  • Communicate program status risks and issues to senior management and stakeholders providing regular updates and reports.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the program team.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.

  • Manage customer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for program-related matters.

  • Identify and mitigate program risks developing contingency plans as necessary.

  • Support the development and implementation of lean principles and practices within the program.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (Technical Degrees preferred).

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Program Manager Project Manager Product Manager or Engineering Manager

  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to both customer and internal locations.

  • This position requires U.S. citizenship status.

  • Travel 10%-25% domestic.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Program Manager Project Manager Product Manager or Engineering Manager preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.

  • Background in avionics systems integration hardware software development.

  • Deep domain expertise in life cycle development for high design assurance programs as a Product Manager or Engineering.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs from inception to completion.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

  • Independent self-starter that can proactively manage a variety of external and internal stakeholders and achieve business growth

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

  • Knowledge of lean principles and practices is highly desirable.

The base pay range for this position is $146000.00 - $175000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factorsincluding the candidates experience education and skill position is also eligiblefor an annual discretionary bonus based on apercentage of your base salary/ commission based on the posting isexpected to close on03/31/26.
