Our client a managed IT services provider is seeking an IT Systems Support Specialist II to join their Florence KY this role youll resolve escalated support issues administer Microsoft 365 and support servers networks and end users across small-to-mid-sized business clients. Success in this role means you own issues end-to-end keep users productive and lean on documentation resources and teammates to close unfamiliar problems quickly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues working across varied environments and owning problems through resolution. Youll gain hands-on exposure to servers networking cloud systems and security tools while collaborating with experienced teammates. IT Systems Support Specialist (SMB Managed Services Provider) Responsibilities
Own escalated Tier 2 tickets through resolution
Troubleshoot user system and connectivity issues across client environments
Administer Microsoft 365 tenants identities and permissions
Investigate security alerts and follow escalation procedures
Assist Tier 1 queue during peak volume periods
Support Windows OS troubleshooting and file recovery
Maintain user accounts and permissions in Active Directory / Entra ID
Support VPN access and basic network troubleshooting
Assist with server and virtualization issues
Coordinate with vendors for application-specific problems
IT Systems Support Specialist (SMB Managed Services Provider) Qualifications
2 years of hands-on IT support/troubleshooting experience required
Experience in one or more areas below required:
o Microsoft ecosystem: Windows OS admin M365 business apps and/or Active Directory
o Networking & remote access: VPN support for remote users; knowledge of DNS
o Infrastructure: servers virtualization and web hosting exposure
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills required
