Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant / Payroll Specialist with HR Management responsibilities to manage U.S. payroll operations accounting processes and HR compliance. This role requires strong hands on experience with U.S. payroll systems federal and state tax regulations and HR best practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate payroll financial compliance and effective HR operations for our U.S. based workforce.
Key Responsibilities :
Payroll & Accounting
Process U.S. payroll accurately and on time using Paylocity ADP or Paychex
Manage federal state and local payroll taxes filings and compliance
Reconcile payroll reports deductions and benefits
Handle journal entries related to payroll accruals and adjustments
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain payroll records and audit documentation
Human Resources Management
Oversee HR operations including onboarding offboarding and employee records
Manage benefits administration and employee relations
Support performance management and HR documentation
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience with U.S. payroll processing
Hands-on experience with Paylocity ADP or Paychex
Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state payroll taxes
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Human Resources
Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with U.S. based teams or clients
Knowledge of multi state payroll and compliance
HR or Accounting certifications (CPA CA SHRM PHR a plus)
