Job Summary

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations of our Asia manufacturing sites. This position is critical to achieving production targets mitigating technical and quality challenges and proactively addressing geopolitical and operational risks. By managing and coordinating both factory-level KPIs and strategic OKR initiatives the Manufacturing Operations Manager will contribute to continuous improvements in automation cycle time reduction and quality enhancements essential to Solidigms commitment to excellence. The role will also require working closely with our Product manufacturing team leads and owning product specific deliverables through operational efficiencies. This role directly aligns with the companys strategic goals to optimize manufacturing practices and ensure consistency across global operations.

Key Responsibilities includes...

  • Coordinate daily manufacturing production schedules at factory or program/product level ensuring revenue and production targets are consistently met.

  • Lead efforts to implement factory and data automation enhancing manufacturing efficiency and quality of high-density products.

  • Oversee cycle time improvement projects to reduce production delays and mitigate capacity constraints while minimizing any significant equipment investment.

  • Manage operations KPIs and KTBR activities specific to the China outsourced factory ensuring alignment with company-wide standards.

  • Provide critical MRB (Material Review Board) and quality improvement support ensuring coordinated solutions across both China and Taiwan factories.

  • Collaborate across both factories to balance revenue priorities while addressing ongoing technical issues form factor diversity and higher-density production needs.

  • Develop and enforce safety protocols to protect employees company assets and the surrounding environment.

  • Assess personnel and material levels to determine manufacturing schedules and optimize workforce distribution.

  • Establish and monitor operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards cost objectives and production deadlines.

  • Foster an inclusive work environment ensuring the development and performance management of manufacturing team members across the facility.


Qualifications :

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing operations management experience preferably within semiconductor industry environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of factory automation data systems and manufacturing quality control processes.

  • Proficiency with manufacturing KPIs cycle-time management and strategic OKR planning.

  • Excellent leadership coordination and multitasking capabilities in fast-paced manufacturing settings.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address wide-ranging operational challenges.

  • English and Mandarin proficiency for effective communication across factory locations.

  • Must be willing to conduct occasional travel to other facilities as needed.

Preferred:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration Engineering or a related field.

  • Certification in Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing or equivalent.

  • Experience with geopolitical risk assessment in manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with Solidigm-specific manufacturing practices and protocols.
