Job Summary

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Event Foreman is responsible for booth design and all aspects of building booths for trade shows. This position is located in Crossville offices requiring attendance and adherence to scheduled and assigned work hours. Position is not a telecommuting position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

General Duties include but are not limited to:

â Specialize in laying tile

â Ability to do light electrical work

â Ability to do light machining work

â Grouting tile/ Epoxy included

â Cutting wood/ Carpentry

â Building Floors

â Cutting tile

â Packaging crates / inbound and outbound

â Building wall panels

â Assisting with booth design

â Maintain accurate records.

â Adhere to company policy and procedures

â Adhere to convention centers policy and procedures

â Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.

â Perform any other duties that may be assigned or required.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES OF THE JOB:

â Strong carpentry skills

â Knowledge and ability to cut tile and grouting

â Knowledge of various power tools; wet saws grinders drill press etc.

â Supports a positive team environment in which members participate

â Respect and cooperate with each other to achieve desired results

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THIS JOB:

â Lifting bending climbing and carrying

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

â Plant conditions that include all extreme weather conditions (hot and cold) and a noisy environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

â Must be at least 18 years of age

â Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test and criminal background check

â Financially responsible
