Detroit Lakes Paid On-Call Firefighter
Location: Detroit Lakes MN
Status: On-Call

The City of Detroit Lakes is accepting applications for the position of Paid On-Call Firefighter. This position performs skilled and semi-skilled work in protecting life and property through fire suppression rescue operations and emergency response services within the City of Detroit Lakes and surrounding area.

This is not a full-time position. Firefighters respond to calls as needed and participate in required training and department meetings.

Job Requirements:

Age 21 or older
High School diploma or GED Equivalent
Valid Minnesota Class D Drivers License
Must live within 4 miles or an 8-minute drive time of the Detroit Lakes Fire Station (417 Main St. W. Detroit Lakes MN 56501)
Successfully pass a written exam oral interview physical exam and physical agility test.

Wage Information:

$15.00 per hour while responding to calls or on Standby
