Job Summary

Description

The Junior Finance Associate will provide analytical support to their designated region. This person will be working closely with our Operations and Non-Operations Market Leads to assist in budgeting forecasting and procurement. This is a key position that will interact with team members at all levels requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills excellent computer skills and exceptional problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning
Support reporting and analysis related to monthly variance budget and quarterly financial metrics
Review P&L for variances and advise operations on opportunities for improvement
Maintain and report monthly and quarterly variance and operating financial metrics
Operational expense tracking against POs.
Purchase Order Management:
- Accurately enter review and issue recurring blanket purchase orders (BPOs) to suppliers for various facilities within the corporate real estate portfolio.
- Ensure blanket purchase orders align with subcontract compensation documents.
Payment Activities & Vendor Relations:
- Own the purchase-to-payment process for the account ensuring seamless workflow from PO issuance to invoice processing and payment.
- Work proactively with vendors to resolve any invoicing discrepancies or payment issues.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field is required
2-5 years of experience in finance and accounting is required
Advanced working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products
Ability to present financial data concisely utilizing visualizations when necessary
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize projects and execute and deliver key objectives in a timely manner
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Ability to take direction from supervisors and aggressively contribute to departmental discussions pertaining to problem-solving
