Job Overview

Xpect is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Manager toperform data center operations servicing the needs of the Unites States Attorneys Office. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) data center facilities ensuring the smooth and efficient running of server equipment.

This position has a 100% onsite requirement.

Core Responsibilities
The Data Center Operations Manager will:

Ensure 24/7 operations and security of data centers
Oversee installation maintenance and upgrades of data center infrastructure
Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions
Develop implement and enforce data center policies and procedures
Collaborate with vendors contractors and internal departments to support business objectives
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup plans
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Conduct regular audits and assessments of data center operations

Requirements
Minimum Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in data center operations; AND
Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or a related field; OR
Advanced certifications (e.g. Data Center Certified Associate Certified Data Center Professional) preferred

- Data center infrastructure and network technologies
- HVAC UPS and power distribution systems
- Network and server hardware
- Data center management tools and software
- Capacity / performance planning and lifecycle management
- Maintain architecture diagrams rack elevations and network maps
Leadership and organizational skills:
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills
Familiarity with industry and compliance standards and federal security requirements (e.g. FISMA/NIST DOJ/USAO policies)
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Security Requirements - Must be able to obtain up to a Secret clearance.
