Electrical Engineer - Industrial Automation Brisbane QLD Permanent Full-Time
Want to work on complex electrical design projects across multiple industries Saunders International a 70-year ASX-listed engineering company is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing Brisbane team.

What Youll Be Doing:
Youll be the go-to electrical expert handling design deliverables including load flow studies short circuit analysis circuit breaker selectivity arc flash studies earthing design device selection IO lists and BOMs. Youll draft and markup drawings in AutoCAD Electrical develop internal standards and ensure all work meets Australian Standards and client requirements.
This isnt a desk-only role. Youll be involved in site inspections FAT SAT fault finding and working directly with clients on design decisions. Youll collaborate with Project Managers Systems Engineers and the sales team while mentoring junior engineers and leading technical discussions.
What You Need (The Essentials):
- Degree in Engineering
- 5 years in industrial automation electrical design with proven delivery on large projects
- RPEQ registration
- Experience with Siemens Rockwell or Schneider Electric control systems
- Technical leadership experience and enthusiasm for innovation
- Australian drivers licence and full working rights
Desirable Skills:
- Lightning protection HV protection emergency lighting or high-rise electrical design
- ETAP SKM Power Tools or PowerCAD experience
