DescriptionJob Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Engineer to join our team. The Building Engineer will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of a large commercial building. This position requires a thorough understanding of safety practices building systems and general maintenance procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on all building systems and equipment including heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) plumbing electrical and fire life safety.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and assess the building for potential safety hazards
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent technical trade school certification preferred
Must be able to be licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board
Salary Range: $20-$23 per hour (Depending on Experience)
