POSITION OVERVIEW
The CDL Driver is charged with professionally transporting customer vehicles for the Service Department or delivering a truck in or out of state as directed by the Sales Department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver trucks and buses to various aftermarket companies and body companies to have aftermarket products and bodies installed.
- Help salespeople deliver new trucks to the customer.
- Speak professionally to customers regarding their vehicles.
- Responsible for delivering documentation to customers for signature.
- Deliver customers vehicles when the service department has performed service on the vehicle.
- Maintain professional appearance.
- Inspect each vehicle to be transported and document any damage noting on the repair order.
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong character and work ethic.
- Dependable and responsible team player with a positive attitude.
- CDL License and clean driving record required.
Work Environment
- Normal accessibility of all work sites required for the position
- Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes cramped spaces loud noises chemicals and fumes dust heights or work safety hazards
- Normal amount of overtime or extended work hours required
Physical Effort
- Normal physical mobility which includes movement from place to place on the job taking distance and speed into account
- Normal physical agility which includes ability to maneuver body while in place
- Normal physical strength to handle routine materials and tools
- Normal physical strength to handle 50-pound object taking frequency into consideration
- Normal dexterity of hands and finger
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a pre-hire drug and alcohol test.
