Job Summary

Step into a hands-on leadership role at the heart of our horticulture operation in Alstonville Northern NSW.

This is a blue-collar leadership role - not a desk job. Youll lead people manage machinery and keep a high-throughput facility running safely efficiently and on plan during peak harvest periods.

The role

Reporting to the Operations Manager the Macadamia Dehusking Operations Coordinator:

Leads day-to-day operations of the dehusking facility.
Oversees safe efficient and reliable throughput.
Supports Leading Hands and teams with clear direction and timely escalation.
Manages labour workflow equipment customer requirements quality and compliance.
Owns operational performance aligned to monthly and annual budgets.

A day in the life of the Operations Coordinator

Turn seasonal plans into clear daily and weekly priorities.
Coordinate receival processing storage and dispatch.
Manage throughput bottlenecks and changing harvest or weather conditions.
Act as the main contact for growers and logistics partners.
Monitor productivity downtime yields and cost drivers.
Identify improvement opportunities and support end-of-season maintenance delivery.
Coach and Build team capability with a focus on succession and continuity.

About you skills and experience that will make you stand out

Experience leading people in manufacturing processing horticulture logistics or other relevant operational leadership environments.
Experience driving outcomes; operational KPIs productivity measures and cost awareness .
Strong practical leadership skills in fast-paced physical environments.
Sound judgement clear communication and confidence holding standards.
Working knowledge of WHS and compliance in an operational setting.
Relevant qualification (Cert III/IV Diploma) or equivalent hands-on experience.
