Job Title: BG Industrial Automation Professional
Job Location: 5100 Old Pearman Dairy Rd. Anderson SC 29625
Job Type: Full-time 40 hours a week Monday Friday
Competences Requirements:
- Knowledge / Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Robotics Engineering Automation and Control Engineering or closely related field
- Previous Experience (If relevant): Five (5) years of experience as an Engineering Technician Bonding Engineer Assembly Engineer Process Engineer Process Analyst or related role where required experience gained.
- Alternative Knowledge & Experience: Masters degree in stated fields and three (3) years of stated experience
- Key technical competencies: 2 years of experience in the following:
- Trouble shooting identifying root cause issues and applying resolutions on programmable logic controllers or robotics
- Siemens PLC and Allen Bradley PLC
- Working with Fanuc and Kuka Robots
- Industrial Automation Project Management
- Panel Viewer
Activities
- Apply and promote application of HSE and quality policies and procedures including:
- PLC and robot and HMI program risk analysis.
- follow up and promote HSE validation.
- Support operations in case of major or new issue on assembly processes/equipment.
- Validate technical feasibility of robotics aspects and assist to design for manufacturing if required.
- Support the definition of equipment specifications and supplier sourcing.
- Support the validation and commissioning of robotoized applications following development of robotic equipment standard.
- Contribute to automation and robotic network activities.
- Attend operations productivity workshops.
- This position requires 25% domestic travel and 5% international travel.
