Job Summary
TheUndersea Systems Division (USD)at Leidos currently has an opening for a Signal/Image Processing Internto work in our San Diego CA the leading edge of technology by designingdemonstrating and deploying solutions to solve complex remote sensing problems for our Department of Defense is an exciting opportunity to contribute to system development and to gain experience for an individual with interest in maritime remote sensing physics sensors systemprototyping algorithm and software development statistics machine learning and artificial intelligence. Our focus is to develop capabilities and deployable prototypes and transition those to our Defense business segment
Primary Responsibilities: The candidate will be supporting a DoW program called Pulling Guard as a Signal/Image Processing intern. Under the mentorship of Leidos technical staff responsible for development and coding of various algorithms in sensing and sensemaking.

Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university in EE Physics or similar
Python Matlab
Gitlab or other software repository and issue system
Develop algorithms in signal/image processing and work with AI models for an innovative program
Support analysis of collected data from test events
US Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48100.00 - $86950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
