During the Academic year this position is located at the Sett Pub in Union South. During the Summer months this position will transfer to the Memorial Union. At both locations this position supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations ensuring excellent customer service and supervising staff -all while maintaining high standards of food quality cleanliness and safety. This person in this role plays a key part in team performance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Youll work alongside other professionals and students utilizing your skills and talent to lead a high-quality food operation for the UW Madison community. A successful candidate will have previous restaurant leadership experience and demonstrate excellent communication organizational and teambuilding skills.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds occasionally needed; Ability to work outside in inclement weather needed.
Work Schedule and Location:
This position is 100% on-site and is scheduled to work a combination of days nights and weekends with 2 days off in a row. Operational and work schedules will be closely aligned with the services and customer needs of our units. As a result work schedules will be adjusted during specific times of the year to meet demand.
Enforces alcohol policy and law through carding operations on the Terrace
Memorial Union Terrace Summer Operations - locates to these units from May to September - increased schedule demands and responsibilities
Plans and executes Badger Bash Welcome Week and other special events throughout the year.

The starting salary is $57500 / Annually but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications
