JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinating and completing pre-screenings for HHI admissions

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily in a timely manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. This person must be proficient in interpersonal and communication skills as well as time management and organizational skills. Must be knowledgeable of all requirements for working with insurance providers such as benefits assessment pre-authorizations clinical reviews denials and billing. Must be trained as a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) by attending a -40- hour initial training.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum of a GED or high school diploma; a Bachelors degree in a human services field is preferred. Must be registered with the State of Arkansas as a Counselor in Training (CIT) or completed the testing process for a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Within six months of eligibility to test for the ADC exam the exam must be scheduled and taken.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to stand reach lift bend kneel stoop climb push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Job Duties

  • Answer all pre-screening and admission inquiries via telephone email or in person
  • Assist with psychoeducation group facilitation and Recovery Coaching as needed
  • Update HRI client census with new admits
  • Update Credible scheduler and eMar as needed
  • Maintain and submit a weekly waiting list (if an assigned duty)
  • Ensure that all required pre-screenings and admission paperwork is completed and uploaded to the clients Credible chart including a photo
  • Assist clients with insurance sign-ups as needed
  • Attend weekly Learning Labs
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Multitask prioritize and manage time as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Per insurance employees must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid drivers license.
