What you will do:

In this role you will play ahands-onrole in buildingmaintaining and supporting the production ofhigh precisionaircraftcomponents and systems. Thisthree-yearapprenticeshipblends practical workshop experience with structured technical training preparing you for a skilled career in aerospace manufacturing and engineering.

Supported by our experienced team you will:

Operate andmaintainworkshop tools machinery and equipment under supervision
Assistin the fabrication assembly and installation ofaircraftcomponents
Read and interpret engineering drawings specifications and work instructions
Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers calipers and gauges
Support routine inspections testing andquality assuranceactivities
Follow strict safety regulatory and aerospace manufacturing standards
Document work performed andmaintainaccuraterecords
Collaborate with engineers technicians and senior craft professionals
Participate in classroombased and onthejob training modules

Alongside gaining hands-on experienceyou will work towardsa Level 3Engineering FitterApprenticeshiphelping to shapeastrong foundationfor your future career - which we hope may lead to securing a permanent role with us!

Qualifications we prefer:

We expect that youwill bejuststartingyour career inManufacturingso alongside our training partner we will delight in training andsupportingyou through your career journey to successfully complete your apprenticeship. That means you need to be a willing learner and committed to achieving both business and personal results whilst working as part of a team.With anaturalcuriosityfor how things work and hands-on tasks you will be astrong communicatorandproblem-solverwithgoodattention to detailandthe ability tofollow technical instructions.

You will have obtained a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above including Mathematics andEnglish anda STEM subject.
