Role Summary and Impact

Choreograph is seeking a Manager to join our Data Strategy team for our major telco client BTEE.

The BTEE team (aka OpenConnect) is the largest UK client in the agency and the data work on the account is innovative and future-facing with clients who are data savvy and champion our work across their business. This role is focused on the Consumer side of the BT Group business and will work across three of BT Groups sub-brands; BT EE and Plusnet.

Data Strategy involves transforming the way our clients think about organize and orchestrate data & technology to deliver more timely engaging and meaningful brand experience for their customers. BT Consumer is a data rich client and that combined with clients willingness to test and evolve makes for opportunities to do great work.

The main focus area of this role are;

  1. Data-led audience and bidding strategy and enablement;
  • Using the data-sets and technology available to BTEE understand the audiences and lead in the delivery of test trial and strategy recommendations across paid media campaigns on addressable channels for a BT product vertical.
  • Ownership of the Audience Pack; activations audience source of truth for campaign utilization ensuring this is up to date and accurate for teams.

  1. Digital Media Acceleration Project Ownership and support;
  • You wont be just doing campaign based work and will be able to be a key stakeholder in some of BTEEs media acceleration workstreams.
  1. Open Media Studios
  • Supporting the capture development and integration of BTEE data into proprietary WPP tools for Discovery Planning Activation and Measurement use-cases.
  1. Cross-functional Collaboration;
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and deliver on technology opportunities that drive growth and optimise outcomes for the clients business. This includes our internal MarTech and AdOps team and the embedded engineering team at BTEE who build data products for paid media use-cases.
  1. Testing Champion;
  • Owning Data Strategies testing workstream; work with internal testing leads plus activation and analytics teams to bring forward proper methodologies for Data & Tech focused test and trials.
  • Produce collateral for client facing case studies and share more widely with internal agency stakeholders plus in client forums.

  • Strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers is key; you must be able to analyse raw data draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of the importance of privacy first media and what that means for how we need to do things differently.
