DescriptionSTARS Admin facilitates technical training administrative support and guidance to all training personnel including assurance that markets follow consistent processes. Provide accurate and consistent data through reports to assigned local market. Improve technician competencies and develop capability of dealerships as well as reach market goals and objectives.
Responsibilities- STARS delivery and management:
- Management of STARS data and relevant administration.
- Create and update training activities in STARS:
- Creation of Training Certifications
- Creation of Training pathways
- Course creation with Pre-Requisites and Equivalencies aligned with central and global training team
- Training planning and coordinating with training lead to generate training schedule
- Classroom training
- Virtual Instructor Lead Training
- TTT Train The Trainer
- Special activities etc.
- Set up training courses in STARS for the respective certification paths.
- Update the training materials in Sharing systems to ensure availability of the training materials when training sessions take place.
- Provide potential candidate information to support FSE for nominations & enrollments.
- Coordinate with market Field Service Engineers (FSE) / Zonal Managers (ZM) to follow up dealerships/technicians to enrollment as per their technician development plan.
- Monitor and control the class size and class fill rate in a timely manner as per the requirements.
- Ensure that the training courses meet the minimum numbers (sufficiently full) within 14 working days prior to course schedule. Send email reminder for enrollment prior to course commencement date.
- If Training class enrollment is below expectation (80%) STARS Admin should contact the relevant Technical Training Lead responsible for the technical training course to coordinate notification of postponement or cancellation via STARS to dealership. Timely notification would avoid incurring unnecessary expenses.
- Tracking class fill rate and processing of No-show/late cancellation penalties (if any).
- Collect evaluation summary for eLearning/webinar and classroom training via the ATS reporting site and forward to relevant Training lead responsible for technical training analysis on follow-up actions if required.
- Facilitation for issuing certificates to Certified Technician.
- Support and Helpdesk:
- Advise or conduct training to Dealer STARS admin or internal user such as FSE/ZM/TAC (Technical Assistance Centre Advisors) on how to use STARS correctly.
- Provide helpdesk service to markets/dealers on STARS enquiry i.e. reply to STARS enquiry via generic STARS email address in timely and accurate manner.
- Add/change dealer admins.
- Activate/in-active dealership employees.
- STARS ID password recovery.
- Status change for individuals on online course completion.
- Confirmation of learners enrolment.
- Ad Hoc & Analysis:
- Coordinate ad hoc events/projects as required by management.
- Support market management for ad hoc data analysis and report as request.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelors degree preferred; an associate degree in a technical field combined with equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Core Competencies: Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with a proven track record of being results-driven in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional Experience: 35 years of experience in the automotive industry or with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Prior experience in Technical Training is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in data analytics and automation tools specifically Advanced Excel Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI Power Apps and Power Query).
- Workflow Optimization: Demonstrated ability to leverage SharePoint and MS Forms to streamline data collection and enhance reporting workflows.
