Surgical Pathologist
ATLANTA GEORGIA (USA).The Emory University Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine has a full-time faculty position available in Pathology. We seek a non-tenure track AP or AP/CP board-certified (or board-eligible) surgical pathologist to join a collegial group of faculty at the Decatur Operating Unit (DOU) providing surgical pathology services to the Emory Decatur and Emory Hillandale hospitals. The successful candidate will be eligible for medical licensure in Georgia. Fellowship training and/or expertise in breast cytopathology GI and/or gynecologic pathology are desirable. Faculty rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
The DOU pathology division offers its faculty a diverse diagnostic practice including annual volumes of approximately 12000 surgical pathology specimens 1200 non-GYN cytology specimens <10 fetal autopsies each year and supports a busy endoscopy service with EUS and FNA evaluations.
The Emory University Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine offers an attractive compensation package for this position composed of a signing bonus and moving allowance generous base salary additional variable pay commensurate with productivity and annual incentive/bonus payments. Funds and administrative time off service are offered to support attendance at professional meetings.
