The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered nursing care in a Labor & Delivery environment. This role supports physicians and interdisciplinary teams by assessing patient needs implementing individualized care plans and ensuring safe evidence-based clinical practice across the continuum of maternal and newborn care.

Assess plan implement and document nursing care based on individual patient needs.
Assist physicians with patient care and clinical decision-making.
Identify patient priorities through ongoing assessment planning intervention and evaluation.
Develop coordinate and manage individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiate assessments based on patient condition physician diagnosis and functional health frameworks.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care in accordance with standards of practice.
Document care accurately based on patient acuity clinical priorities and professional standards.
Advocate for evidence-based practice and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery.
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
Float within the LDRP unit as needed providing care in labor postpartum antepartum and nursery settings.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
LDRP Unit (Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum)
Assignments may include labor postpartum antepartum or nursery based on unit needs.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a related nursing specialty.

Hours per Week: 36
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
Every other weekend required
3 out of 6 holidays required
No on-call requirement
Float requirement: As needed within unit
