Job Summary
Visions Staffing is looking for an experienced Machine Programmer Operator to set up program and run belt grinding and finishing equipment to deburr grind and deliver high quality metal this role you will adjust machine settings change belts and finishing heads inspect part quality troubleshoot finish issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure consistent surface finishes and edge rounding. Ideal candidates have experience with belt grinding or metal finishing understand CNC or semi automatic controls can read blueprints and have strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program or input machine parameters such as belt speed feed rate pressure and pass count
- Install and change abrasive belts brushes or finishing heads as required
- Perform test runs and fine-tune settings to meet finish specifications
- Inspect parts for surface finish burr removal and dimensional requirements
- Set up the Timesavers belt grinding machine for specific jobs and materials
- Follow all safety procedures related to abrasive machinery and material handling
Required Skills
- Experience with belt grinding or metal finishing processes
- Basic understanding of CNC or semi-automatic machine controls
- Ability to adjust mechanical settings and recognize finish quality
- Blueprint reading and surface finish specification understanding
- Basic math and measurement skills
Shift:2nd shift (2:30-11pm with OT available)
Pay rate: $25-$32/hr DOE
