Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Installation Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install configure and commission electronic security systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance troubleshooting and repair of security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Conduct system testing and provide detailed documentation of findings and corrective actions taken.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and assist in their training and development.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards regulations and company policies during all phases of installation and service work.
• Liaise with clients to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Prepare and submit accurate service reports time logs and documentation in a timely manner.
• Stay current with emerging security technologies and industry best practices to enhance service delivery.
• Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale security system projects.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools equipment and spare parts required for field operations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation servicing and commissioning of electronic security systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of access control surveillance intrusion detection and networking principles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings schematics and documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Certification in electronic security systems (e.g. CCNA PSP or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
